A group from Goleniow and Gdansk in EP, February 09, 2011

Professor Danuta Hübner invited a group of 40 guests from Cultural Salon of Gdansk and secondary school students from Goleniow for a 2-day visits to Brussels.
During the meeting, Professor Hübner talked about current events in the European Union, about the specifics of the negotiations of multi-annual budgetary framework as well as about the issues related with the formulation of new cohesion policy for post-2013 period.
After the lecture, the group visited the European Parliament, learning, among others about the history of the European Union and about the functioning of EU institutions.
One of the points of the program was also a trip to Bruges.
Women’s Cultural Salon of Gdansk gather women from different fields of professional life e.g. academic teachers, female entrepreneurs, also strongly interested and involved in cultural life.
The group from Goleniów consisted of the youth band which operates at the Saint Catherine parish in Goleniów, and students from the Gymnasium No. 1 in Goleniów.

achievements of EU regional policy in the years 2004-2009.
