Professor Danuta Hübner chaired the discussion on the importance of energy in rural regions, organiaed in cooperation with Future of Rural Energy in Europe (FREE).The meeting was attended by MEPs, including Professor Lena Kolarska-Bobińska, Andrzej Grzyb, Lambert van Nistelrooij, Sean Kelly, Silvia-Adriana Ţicău and representatives of regional offices in Brussels - the Silesian, Podlaskie as well as businesses, and organizations such as the SHV Gas, Rurener, ESHA, Euromontana.
