Professor Danuta Hübner awarded with european prize, May 08, 2011
Innsbruck, Austria
On behalf of the city of Innsbruck and Tirol Region, Mayor of Innsbruck Ms Christine Oppitz-Plörer awarded Professor Danuta Hübner with Emperor-Maximilian-Prize 2011 prize for outstanding achievements within local and regional development in Europe.
The ceremony took place on May 8th in Innsbruck, with the presence of local and regional authorities.
Since the establishment of the prize in 1998 following individuals were awarded with the prize: Jordi Pujol (president of Catalonia), Luc van den Brende (former president of the Committee of Regions), Jan Olbrych (Member of the European Parliament)
