Issue of the foundations of the cohesion policy and its future was the main theme of the conference in Sopot within the framework of the Polish presidency. It was attended, inter alia: Professor Danuta Hübner, Minister Elżbieta Bieńkowska, Minister Michał Boni, Commissioner Johannes Hahn, Daniel Braun, a minister in the government of the Czech Republic, Pawel Adamowicz, president of Gdansk.
