Professor Danuta Hübner will be participating in the European Parliament’s plenary session in Strasbourg from September 20th until the 24th. The debate program will include a speech by Herman Van Rompuy, the Head of the European Council, who will present the first report concerning strategic partnership and economic management in the European Union. Furthermore, the ministers will become familiar with the first project concerning the legislation of financial supervision in the EU. The presented reports will include a report by Melin Kazak on economic and trade relations of the EU with Turkey, a report by Reimer Böge on a multi-annual financial framework for the years 2007 – 2013. Moreover declarations of the Council of Ministers and the European Commission concerning the conclusions of the European Council from September 16th and the EU-China summit planned for October 6th, will be presented.

Professor Danuta Huebner presented the report on the
achievements of EU regional policy in the years 2004-2009.
