Professor Hübner inaugurated the exhibition "At home Anywhere", 12 maja 2010

In the framework of the "Day of Europe", Professor Hübner opened the exhibition "Contains the EU" on 11 May in the European Parliament. Two exhibitioners, Esther Kokmeijer and Henrik Jan Haarink made a journey to all 27 countries of the European Union for the project "At home Anywhere". In each country they visited the places closest to the geographical centre. The geographical centres of the EU Member States have been carefully calculated by Kadaster International in the Netherlands. The artists presented to Professor Hübner the calculation of the centre of gravity of Poland, cropland, marked by removing a square metre of soil: N 52°07.752'/E19°23.632'.
The exhibition 'Contains the EU' contains photos from 27 European families seen through the eyes of two artists. During the exhibition, Ms. Hübner said that it is not only a very interesting and unique project, but also a true European project, with the intention to create a better mutual understanding of each others culture, habits and rituals.
